Escapeades is a small destination management company in Cape Town, working for tour operators and travel designers. We run the Cape leg of your clients' trips under your brand: the guiding, the transfers, the hotels and the days out, delivered to your standard and answerable to you.
We do one region and we do it properly: Cape Town, the peninsula, the Winelands and the Whale Coast. If your clients are going on to a safari elsewhere, we run the Cape and hand them over cleanly at the airport to whoever is running the bush.
Cape Town has no shortage of good guides selling day tours direct to travellers. What an operator needs is different: one company that contracts the whole Cape leg, carries the licences and insurance your clients assume you have checked, answers within a day, and never competes with you for the people you send it.

Guiding, vehicles, hotels, activities, restaurant tables and child seats, contracted by us and confirmed in one document. One contact and one company responsible if anything goes wrong, rather than a chain of day-tour operators each answering for a single day.
Your brand, not ours
Our guides introduce themselves as your team on the ground. Client documents go out in your branding or none. We do not market to your clients, hand them our card, or take them direct, during the trip or after it.
An answer within a working day
Every brief gets a reply within one working day, and a costed proposal usually within three. When a client changes their mind six weeks out, you get an answer rather than a holding email.
Someone who reads the weather
Table Mountain makes its own weather and the south-easter decides what the sea is doing. Your clients' guide moves the cableway, the boat and the peninsula day to the mornings they will work, and you hear about anything that changed.
Doors that are usually shut
Forty years in the wine industry buys your clients cellar visits with the winemaker rather than a counter and a coach party. Twenty years on this peninsula buys the skipper who will go out on a morning nobody else is running, and a table at the place that was full six weeks ago.
The paperwork your supplier file needs
SATSA membership, NPTR vehicle licences, registered guides, and public and passenger liability insurance. The numbers are printed on our About page, and copies of the certificates are yours for the asking.
